Which S&W J frame revolver model do carry?

Picked up a sweet Model 49 earlier this year and have carried it pretty much every day since. Also have a Model 36 that goes sometimes, but I prefer the feel of the 49. Shoot it better too.

Though I usually carry a bigger gun these days, when I carry one of my J Frames, I always carry my M&P340. It is the best Defensive J Frame ever made in my opinion. Surprised you left it off the list. If you want to know why I think it is the best:

I carry a M&P 340 most of the time. Sometimes I carry a 60-7 or 640 ND. All loaded with 135 GDHP.

Here's mine, with Galco 2x2x2 pouch and HKS Speedloader carried in a DeSantis Second Six. Typically carried on the belt in either a Gould & Goodrich belt slide or an old DeSantis thumb break.

For pocket carry I currently use a 642-1; when carrying IWB it's a de-locked 640-3.

I recently picked up an M&P 340 which will likely replace the 642 for pocket carry.
