I often do, in the colder months when I can get away with it....... I carry this 4" 64-7 with Compac Pros fairly often although with the warmer weather coming it will pretty much be mothballed except for some range shooting. It may in fact just be retired to permanent range duty, like was said, it's alot of size and weight for a payload of 6 .38 +P's.......carrying a 4" K-frame holster gun IWB can get old quick, too........but I know if God forbid I need it I have a gun I shoot very well with, I have complete confidence in a 4" K-frame size revolver.
In the winter I just use a simple plain old Bianchi 6 IWB holster, those small grips dissapear under a loose Columbia fleece or long thermal type top which I wear anyway. I also have a bunch of carpenter jeans with a larger waist that easily allow me to put the gun IWB. I have on occasion OWB carried it in a cheap Turkish copy of a DeSantis thumb break pancake holster. But I need too long a shirt to make it practical. I used to carry a 4" 10-10 with a Hip Grip, but that became impractical. I have never owned a 2" or 3" K-frame, but do have a Speed Six snub.
I have also IWB carried numerous 4" Ruger Service Sixes and also frequently carry a Ruger 2 3/4" .357 Speed Six, as well as an SP101. Again with the summer upon us here in PA I just can't carry those big guns with the clothes I wear when it's 90 degrees out. I don't do jeans and button down shirts in the heat. With loose, light stuff like windpants, basketball shorts, light cargo shorts and T-shirts I need to downgrade to stuff like my 1 7/8" Model 60 or even a small auto, or NAA mini revolver. I just got tired of having to piece together an outfit just to dress around a 4" K-frame to run out for a few hours, when I can just drop a small .380 in my pocket and go......
