Who else has dumped other platforms for the M&P

Surrendered my Glock 30SF to get my M&P 40C. I loved that pistol, but as an EDC, it was starting to bother my back at the end of the day. I'm sorry though, you don't get my Beretta 92 FS Police Special or my big 28-2. Some things are just sacred.

I love my G19 and won't part with it, but my Shield gets carried most of the time. It is the perfect carry gun IMO.

The two platforms that are doing it for me now are the M&P's and the Witnesses. I have M&P's and Witnesses in 9mm and 45acp.
I have a couple HK's that I'm not too attached to but they've been tough to sell since the VP9 drastically dropped the anchor point on the HK price tag.

Although I haven't dumped any platforms since I am still pretty new to shooting I thought I really liked the XDm line until I shot them a few times. Now I'm all M&P. I didn't like the feel of a glock either. I have never had a malfunction and am looking to add at least 3 more M&P's to my collection on top on my 9 FS and 9 Shield. Next on my list are a BG .38, 9c and 15 sport.

A bit of a necropost but still relevant I guess. While I have been "thinning the herd" a bit, selling a few things I don't shoot anymore, I have not "dumped" anything because of the M&Ps. However, my Shield 9mms will probably cause me NOT to buy a Glock 43.

I still have and shoot the Glocks in 9 & .45, some 1911s and a range of revolvers.

Nope... I haven't dumped anything to go M&P. But then, I have not "Brand Loyalty" to any company.
There are too many good guns out there to choose just one brand.

The only M&P I like, is the Shield and that's because I can easily Front Pocket carry it.

Sold my last Glock off a few weeks ago, the platform just didn't perform as well for me as M&P does. Especially now that I'm running IDPA with the M&P.

I haven't "dumped" anything for the M&P's, they just feel good in my hands; and every gun I own has "Made in USA" on it somewhere. S&W, Ruger, Browning are the brands that cover my handgun line-up. Started out on Ruger and S&W revolvers and see no reason to use anything else. Guess I'm set in my ways

I have had a few pistols. I had a taurus revolver, a taurus TCP, Raven p-25, Glock 27, Glock 19, Ruger P90. I sold most for a reason or another but I kept the Taurus TCP, which will be sold to go towards an M&P. I still have the G19 and a shield that I sold the Glock 27 for. I love the Glock line but the M&P line is much more affordable and they are comfortable to shoot.

Sorry to break this to you, but most Browning guns are not made in the US. The only guns they make in the US is their Buckmark and 1911-22. That is a recent development. Otherwise all their guns are made in Europe and Japan.
