Mr. T about wore me out on one ride that went from a dirt road to a steep rock and sand 4-wheeler trail. KLR650s are great all around bikes and fantastic for dirt roads but since I had not done trail riding in 40 years, about the time T. was born, I had to go a little slower than he was able to... He did however make it a trip of a lifetime for me...although a few times my life did pass before my eyes...

A great trip... - 24hourcampfire

Bob

It did not take long and Bob was riding like a pro.

My 'end of the season' pic from this past Fall. And yes, you are correct. There is not a deer in the pic. But that is my 27-2 5" (c.1965)

Wow a nice bunch of six-guns fella's thanks for sharing.
I'm a fan of the N frame too & one day I'd love to get a .38-44 HD!
I'm staying tuned.

Updated the 629 5" I got last year. The Altamont grips were pretty but less than practical in application.

I really like N frames.

While I don't have any 5 inch, I do have them in mind - but it always seems the 6.5 and some 6 inch find a way to get to my house before I see a 5 inch.

reminds me of an old deer hunter I knew. he shot lots of big mule deer. When I asked him how he did it, he replied simply " I quit shooting two points."

Don't feel bad, I want a big bore 5 screw in the worst way, but 38's & 357's keep getting in the way. someday, someday.
