Who THINKS OF THINGS like this?

That looks like a .22RF,,
Mossberg's has had one of those Steampunks in 30-30 on the market for a couple years now IIRC.

Kinda of a difficult piece of machinery to cozy up to on a nice quiet Autumn day woods walk,,at least for me.
But if it keeps the US private gun mfgs going, I guess that's all good.
Someone must like 'em enough for Mossb to keep making them.
We have Tacticool Semiautos,,Bolt-actions and Pumps. Knives, hatchets and shoelaces.
Why not a L/E

Just not for me.

The adjustable buttstock for length of pull is a good idea. You can debate the fore-end rail for various accessories. The flash hider is just plain silly. :)

I don't see a purpose for that. Maybe if ARs were banned and we had to go to lever actions to be tacticool. I'm all for the marlins with threaded barrels for suppressor use but that offers no realistic advantage to a traditional model.

Who came up with such? A person with too much free time? Just because you can do something it is not always best to do it.

I once saw a lever gun go full auto.....wasn't this gun however!

Mr. Cukar60 , when you get tired in left field i am ready to relieve you . pretty sure that's the only position i can play on that team . kenny , texas

These have been around for a couple of years now. They're been discussed on many gun forums and the reaction has always been pretty much like it is here.
But somebody must like 'em since they're still being made.

Personally, I prefer walnut.

Taste is subjective, however, and even though I see this as ridiculous, I'm sure there are guys who think they're the coolest thing ever.
