Who's Got Snubbies?

My first Smith and Wesson M&P 360 had it on lay-a-way was going to pick up on Jan 2nd or so. After looking at all the posts I went and picked it up TODAY

First time poster on here - I FINALLY got my first Revolver - a 640-1 Snub! I'm really stoked about it. I haven't even shot it yet. I got 5 Winchester .38 Spcl X38S9HP from my Dad (has an older Mdl-36) and I grabbed a box of Gold Dot "SB" .357's today.

Here she is:

I'm a newbie to the forum too. Love the thread and will get in on the act. I love pocket guns.

Only one S&W. The 66 has been designated as my wife's ever since I bought it. But now that she's starting to shoot more she's seeming to like a .380 auto a bit more.

I don't discourage as I want the 66 to take hike fishing this Summer.

The rest are non-Smith. The SP101 was my first pocket gun. I only own it because S&W didn't make a J-frame .357 back when I bought it. Now I could no more sell it than lop off a finger. I did the hammber bob so I could retain the ability to cock it (start with the trigger then pull back on the top of the hammer).

The NAA Guardian came into my collection as something lighter and slimmer than a revolver for Summertime carry in shorts. I was recently tempted by the Taurus TCP since it's a better design (slide stop & ejector) but can't bring myself to sell the NAA.

The Millennium Pro was selected to slot between the SP101 and a full-size combat pistol (this before I started coveting "her" 66) and to give me a second launcher for .45 ACP (want 2 of every caliber I keep in inventory). I was shocked to find it fits into roughly the same size envelope as the Ruger. I've actually pocket carried it (I'm a fat man, have big pockets).

I'm thinking maybe I need to get an Airweight J-frame .38 to slot between the NAA and SP101 in my carry options.

Sorry for the hasty shots with the point & shoot camera. I'm going to get some good pics someday.

the only snubbie i currently own is a smith & wesson model 36 with a 2 inch barrel made in 1972

You sir, have one of the very best snubbies ever created.

I just got mine. It's a model 36 (no dash) blue steel, round butt Chief's Special with a 2 inch snout as well.

But mine is from 1984. ;)

Also have my red-headed stepchild 386NG that I carry almost daily...but it sticks out in a collection of old-school blued steel.

One more

Since 3 inchers are included, here's mine:

4 Smiths and a Hi-Std.

Love my snubs, because I can carry one everyday. Lower left going clockwise we have a 66 with Badger Grips, a 40 lemon squeezer, a 442 Airlite - constant companion, a 317 Airlite that really is quite light, and a High Standard Sentinel 22LR that was very cheap, but is quite interesting. As you see, no locks on any of these - I don't like the lock for cosmetic reasons, but I would still buy a gun with one...
Aw, I forgot to put in my little-est snub; the NAA .22 short:o
