I kind of went a little overboard a couple of years ago and went forth to buy one of each variation of the J frame 32 Magnum series. Wound up successful, including both models of the 4" kit gun version. The rare model cost me the least of the bunch!
Anyway I really like them, I carry the ultra lightweight "bodyguard" model a lot. The basic 631 is really neat either in 2 or 3" versions. The only bad part is that ammo that makes the best use of the .32 Magnum cartridge is not readily available, most of it being quite mild. There are "botique" ammo makers that put out really hot rounds, but you must only use them in S&W or Ruger guns-the H&R revolvers that started the round off are too weak to hold the potential of the cartridge.
I have an extra 3" airweight barrel in 32 Mag if you are interested, bought when I was in my frenzy in case I could not fine a 3" airweight gun-found one so I don't need the extra barrel now.
All in all, I find the gun(s) quite accurate-better than I am in any case-and I shoot all kinds of 32s out of them, lots of fun. The 4" barrels are the most accurate as might be expected with the adjustable sights. With decent HP ammo it makes a very nice SD weapon-with six shots!
