Why all the cheap "knock off" scopes?

It's not in any way infringing, it does not say "Trijicon ACOG" on it.. and it does not use Tritium and Fiber Optic Illumination. It's just a red dot that "looks like" an ACOG.

I love my knockoff ACOG, looks great(and real), crystal clear, stays true. No sense in spending stupid money on a scope to put on a $500 gun. I have a pricey Leupold and I got it on my pricey rifle. This clone is **** man, I even got the mini red dot that mounts on top of the rear of it and the back up iron sights you see on it all for around $200 on eBay. Hong Kong. There is some definite infringement goin on here Brett.

And mines a 4x.

SGD,

I have seen the model you have on eBay and yes there *IS* legitimate infringement with that model! China of course, does not honor any US or World Patent laws so we can scream till we are blue in the face and they will continue to make it. And if my some chance Trijicon was able to shut this one down, another would pop up almost instantly.

Mine has no "trades" it just "looks" the part, but so does a Bushnell Trophy.
