This is a nice thread. And a great OP. Thank you Lee, for all you do here. As well as the Mods. I like to think of a "child friendly" forum as also female friendly. Now, don't get me wrong. I'm as guilty as the next "guy" when it comes to uttering a cuss word now and then (try driving in Nashville and you'll understand). But it's not just the absence of 4 letter words on here that I appreciate. I've been a member of other gun forums, and this one is the only one I really enjoy. Not just because most of my guns are Smiths. But because I'm accepted here just as well as one of the men. I don't have to wonder when the next reply to one of my posts is coming, pointing out how much I don't know, or that I'm too sensitive and women should stay home and do their housework. With as many members as we have here, there very well may be a few who think that way. But they know they don't dare say it, because it won't go over well with the owner. I don't expect, or want, any special treatment. And I know when I come here and post that I'll be treated like "one of the guys". It all comes down to respect. For everyone's feelings. Whether they are young or old, male or female, child or adult. I'll admit, I have to bite my own tongue at times. I'm very outspoken and passionate about certain things. Politics in particular. A lot of us here are. And it's good that those discussions are held in check. I'd have been gone long ago, along with many others on here! Respect is something that seems to be getting harder and harder to find today. And it's the one thing that children need to learn. They can find it here. Thanks Lee.
