Lee,
Excellent post. I watched Charlton Heston's monologue with great admiration, and I thank you for posting it. I'm going to forward the link to many of my friends.
I have sinned on this board from time to time, had my wrist slapped, and in fact really appreciated that it happened. I tend to be vocal about my political beliefs, and my language when employed against "political correctness" tends be salty from time to time because of those strong beliefs. Among adults, face to face, this is fine. But you are right. This board does indeed set a high standard for conduct for all the reasons you mentioned. This is the best-run firearms board on the internet, and the moderators' monitoring helps insure that it stays that way.
Lee, you extended me favors at the SWCA meeting in Tucson, and I learned to appreciate you as a true and honest gentleman. I'll watch my mouth here out of respect for you and all you are trying to accomplish on this board with your time and money. Slap my wrist any time if I get out of line, and keep up the good work.
Best regards,
John
