Why don't you like plastic?

Greetings everyone...

Well my MP 45 FS is my first "plastic" gun. I think it has great looks, and the accuracy is fantastic! No complaints here with "plastic". It handles the recoil of the 45 just fine as well.

I suspect it may also be more durable then lot of metal guns as well.

Mine has been sent back to S&W for a loose pin. Probably not really necessary, but it is a new gun and I am sure they will take care of it!

BTW....No jams, FTE etc from this gun!

One thing I can't stand is polymer frame revolvers.......will NEVER own one.

I can deal with poly frame pistols, but revolvers are and always were meant to be made of steel. It took me 8 years to try rubber grips on a revolver....then stuff like the LCR started coming out and I was like "NO way!"

Welcome to the 21st century gentleman!!! I love em all, plastic, steel, it doesn't matter as long as they work. From shiney SS to a blued barrel to a plastic frame, I just don't care, nor do I look down on your choice, just don't knock mine.. like I said, as long as they all go bang, feel good in the hand or hangin on my side, I'm a happy guy. Just picked up a model 10-4 yesterday, love it, cleaned it, oiled it and shined it last nite.. Opened up the vault door this morning and fondled it, wiped it, loaded a few rounds and then put it back in the safe. While I type, I have my plastic M&P40fs loaded and sitting on my desk in front off me... just in case a BG shows up.....:) I removed my lite when I got up this morning
