The only ammo I'm able to find right now for my 15-22 is Winchester super x 37 grain. Anyone know how that stuff shoots? Thanks in advance...

Runs perfect through my weapons. That was all I could find for a while also, so I bought about 1,500 rounds of it. Have run through about 600 with zero problems. I would say buy whatever you see and can afford, I don't know how long this .22lr craziness is going to last! :/

I had terrible luck with it out of my Marlin 60. Accuracy was fine but there were a lot of duds in the box and I also had a ton of stovepipes when using it. LR ammo is weird though, the same stuff may shoot great out of your gun.

Yeah I don't know if there is a difference, but I purchased it in 100 round boxes like MiniMags, not bulk packaging. WalMart was selling them for $7.34 per hundred.

I ran into an odd issue with this particular ammo this past weekend. I could only get get 24 rounds to easily load into the magazines. If I loaded in 25, the last one was very tight. Also when I tried to chamber the first round it wouldn't go up. I had to drop the mag and remove one round. Once I did that it functioned normally. I've only got 2 mags right now and they both did the same thing. This is the only brand ammo I've had any issue with on my 15-22.

I walked in to wal-mart earlier today and grabbed a 100rd box of this to see if it shot as good as the older stuff. (Did u notice the new design of the grey sticker). No problems with it over here at all. And there is still plenty left on the shelf for the other guys.

I've fired a couple of bricks of Super X through my 15-22 and my son's 10-22.

Other that the occasional FTF, seems to be fine.

Like others here I have used it - quite extensively actually as it was the only "decent" ammo I could find over here for a while - runs fine in my 15-22.

I haven't had any issues with it, but every gun has it's likes and dis-likes when it comes to ammo. The only way to know is to get some and feed it to your 15-22 and see how it digests.

That is the SuperSpeed HP ammo that has a rated speed of 1330 FPS. That and the 40g RN version shoot fine out of my 15-22 and my Buckmark pistols. I find that in my pistols and rifles it does not group as tight as CCI MiniMags but for steel shooting it shoots to the same POA at 25 yards as most other ammo I have used.

I shot a 100 round sleeve of the super speed 37g HP 1330fps the other day. 1 FTF.
