There seems to be two differnt boxed wolf ammo for sale
The standard black box W/ red wolf head on it
Then there is the tan camo box

Whats the difference? I have been told one is polymer coated
the other a varnish / laquer coating - if so which is which.

Thanks

The Tan box is called "Military" ammo and the Black box isn't. (I think) I really don't know if there's a difference and I couldn't tell there was a difference when I shot them side-by-side.

I have read places that the Camo Military ammo is loaded a tad hotter think 9mm NATO. Not sure how true this is but its what I have read. Also from what I have read Wolf and Tula are pretty much the same ammo manufacture.

Wolf Military Classic is manufactured at the Ulyanovsk factory. The black box Wolf is manufactured at the Tula Cartridge Works. Each factory is a separate company with its own manufacturing standards.

I've never had a problem with Military Classic in either 9x18 or 7.62x39.
