When we were broke and underage we bought cases of "Buckhorn".
It was bearable really cold but if it warmed up, it got pretty nasty.
Anyone know if Rolling Rock is still in production?
I don't drink beer but heard Stag was pretty bad.
It is still sold in the STL area and across the river in Illinois.
Was Falstaff any good?
When I drinked years ago,you couldn't give me a Fall City beer. We use to call them dish water.

That's kinda cool...I posted this photo over in the "you might be a redneck" thread, but
got to thinking it might be better here. Anyway, I travelled a bit in
the 1960s so I collected quite a number of different beer cans. Then
I made this beautiful work of art. Does this almost make me a beer
connoisseur? I did drink all of the as well.

Schiltz was a great beer until they changed the formula in order to reduce production time. I remember some Schaefer Beer that a friend bought for .99 a six-pack in the mid 1980's. It made me gag, and was so bad even my frugal friend could not drink it.[/QUOTE
I always liked Schaefer==it was all I could afford at the time and it sure tasted good to me! I'd still drink it if I could find it anywhere.![]()
