WOW-Ruger is taking it on the chin

Also, there is very little press about the young civilian hero who stopped the killer's psychotic, murderous rampage, by using the hero's own personal firearm.

There has been a good bit of press about both Stephen Willeford and Johnnie Langendorff. Written articles and televised interviews on all major networks and news channels. And the press has been positive...I haven't seen anyone saying anything negative about the two men.

They both seem to be sort of normal and unassuming men, so it's possible there may not be much more written about them, simply because they don't want to talk about it. Maybe they don't want or need a whole bunch of media attention.

Ruger's stock price hasn't suffered.

Like Bushmaster, Ruger does sound a bit intimidating. Mention them every time and the shallow thinkers will hate them all the more.

The two heroes used what they should have but they cannot glorify that. Goes against their agenda.

When I hear Ruger mentioned anywhere it makes me think of the mini-14. When I think of the mini-14 it makes me think of that 80's TV show "The A-team". When I think of the A-team it makes me chuckle. Therefore when I hear the name Ruger it makes me chuckle.

Stock prices haven't changed in 3 days. Still clipping along at $50 a share.

The guy across the street who ventilated the church shooter didn't say what AR he was using but he did say he had an Eotech dot on it and he was firing at the guy from about 20 yards away. Messed him up good.

I saw the older gentleman (who shot the madman) this morning on the morning news, and he was in tears about the victims and his shooting of the madman. Maybe when you have to kill someone, the press will give you some privacy to grieve. I for one hope I am never in such a situation and if I am I hope the press GETS OFF MY LAWN.

The Anti-gunners will do anything necessary to achieve their goals. In certain respects they are much more savvy in getting what they want then we are - because we think on the straight and narrow, while they think outside the box. Anti-gunners are ruthless, shameless and bold and unless we fight back with equal tactics we are doomed. We can hope, wish and ignore, but it will happen!

This is why I always push any gun owner I know to join the NRA. Certainly NOT a perfect Organization but it's about all we have. I laugh when gun owners "find" a reason that pisses them off enough not to join but in the long run they are only hurting us and themselves.

These days the 2nd amendment and the Federal law means less than public opinion. Just look how the Left does NOT obey laws now! They ONLY obey the ones they like. Honest law abiding gun owners are many times not able to think like a Radical - that's why they constantly advance their cause.

I was quite surprised when it was told right away that the weapon was a Ruger. Was the brand(s) used in LV ever made public?

"Bump Stock" brand "High Powered Assault rifle" brand

Actually he had so many, who knows which one(s) he actually used.

"The high-powered weapons also included a .308-caliber AR-10 rifle and an AK-47-type rifle — as well as four Daniel Defense DDM4 rifles, three FN-15s and other rifles made by Sig Sauer, according to reports."

I don't know if reporting the name Ruger along with a tragedy will hurt company sales. How were sales of SlideFire affected after Vegas?

We should BAN Toyota Pick-up Trucks since the Terrorist in NYC used one to mow down 8 people and injure more. They are very dangerous you know. Not Fords or Chevy's - just Toyota's since they make people do these things.

Pathetic reporting!!!
