I don't care what barrel length, I'll buy one of each.
The .357 Maximum is a great cartridge, and a popular one in several areas that allow deer hunting with straight-walled cartridges in former shotgun-only tracts.
It would be a lot more 'shootable' for those who are currently unenthusiastic about firing the 500 and 460.
There are quite a few Dan Wesson guys who would also buy them up, to shoot instead of their safe queens.
There are more appropriate bullets commercially available than in the past, including a couple of 180gr offerings and at least one 200gr slug.
Anyone else think this would work well for S&W?
