Like with 3.5" 27s and 2.5" 19/66s, I have a thing for 2.5" 686s and usually grab every reasonably priced one I find. Today's cherry -1 was found at Willey Bros in Reno. She has the 'M' stamp and original combats.

Just curious, what was "reasonably priced" where you picked it up? If you don't mind

Post 1,
Good find. I haven't been in that shop for a couple months.
I did find a LNIB 3" 686+ (w/lock) back in January at Carson City Armory.
I think my last Willey Bros. buy was now 2 years ago for my Mod. 60-7 2".
I'm trying to cut back, but will be buying a few cases of ammo soon.
All this makes for an expensive hobby/activity.

Howdy
They had a 3" 686-6+ sitting next to this one. I rarely leave from there empty handed. A few weeks ago I left with a M70 LW Super Grade in 7x57, 1 of 165 - 100% total impulse buy.
