The wife is always asking me , "What's for dinner" ?

So today, (5/8/23), I told her that I would cook up some frozen Kokanee salmon, since I am hoping to get out on the waters for some fresh ones, with my boat in the shop, getting a tune up.

The meal turned out great but the bad news was.........
that the wheel on my gas BBQ came off, while getting it in position to grill , in my back yard !!

I am noting that lots of my "Things" are starting to need some help.

I don't mind the tools and stuff but;
Pills, don't let me down !!

Where do you go for Kokanee salmon? Years ago I caught them, I believe the same specie, in the Sierra lakes, especially one out of Grass Valley, Ca. I don't remember the lake.

When I had to put down my first dog because he was in such pain from arthritis. That didn't make me old at being 23 and him 14, BUT NOW I sometimes wake up and know just how he felt!

other day sent a text to grandson, asked him if he would like to finish a rifle stock w/ me? no reply or call. if he thought about it, maybe a really nice winchester/ bolt action/ 22 cal. might be his.

There are about 14 waters in the northern part of the state, that hold kokanee.
In the grass valley (hwy 20 ) area you might have fished either
Boman or New Bullards waters for those kokanee.
