You Know Your Getting Old When....

When the list of body parts that hurt is longer than the list of parts that don't hurt.

When you wake up in the morning with a smile on your face and the first thing out of the wife's mouth is "Go Pee"...

You know that you are old when...
...you ask where everyone in the room was when JFK was shot, then realize none of them were born until decades later.
...your doctor says that you can no longer eat anything that tastes good.
...you realize that none of your parents or grandparents lived as long as you have.
...your kids get A's in history at school because of your first hand accounts.
...your college has demolished all the buildings that you attended classes in.
...your doctor has stopped trying to get you to take most preventative tests, because it "doesn't matter at this point".
...you tell your wife that you are going out to reenact your bachelor party with your friends and she laughs and says see you at 9.

1. When getting AARP stuff in the mail doesn't annoy you.
2. You remember people's first name but not the last name.
3. When many things that once worried, annoyed or angered you don't anymore.
4. You ain't the least bit worried about global warming.

I saw a recent pic of Al Gore and he's a fattened hog now. Must be why he doesn't come out much.

1. You visit a military base and the NCOs look like kids.
2. You remember when the local shopping mall was built.
3. There's a problem and you remember how you did it BEFORE computers.

When you foolishly wrap your snow plow around a tree, and your daughter laughs affectionately and says "that's something grandpa would have done" Yup, I just did that.

This really happened to me. I went back for Homecoming and the schedules talked about events that were taking place in building I never heard of. I suggested to some of the people in the Alumni Office that they ought to issue maps identifying the buildings that currently exist, because a lot of the buildings I remembered were torn down. I can't remember if they listened to me or not.
