Hadn't owned a 4" N frame since selling my 29-2 many years ago, so finally got about to building one. 629-3 bought with a 6.5" barrel and a scope mounted. Now it's fun to shoot.
I am challenged in 4" barrel N frames. The only 1 I currently have is a 625-8, JM. Really like it. 29-2, 4" is gone. It was a beauty. Have 6" N frames also. Bob
I used the 629-1 for .44 mag side matches, so it's magna ported and changed from square butt to round accommodating the pachmayrs.
The 625 PD was a whim, but I like it.
Of my two N-frames, my Mountain Gun has the 4-inch barrel. A very sweet shooting revolver. I have shot some IDPA with my Mountain Gun. Not a bad revolver for IDPA. Of course, compared to the other handguns at the match, it looks like a cannon!

Thanks for looking at my N-frame with 4-inch barrel.
My only 4" N's were built way later than most of the stunning beauties posted.
A 610-2, and a somewhat scarce 627-5. They're the only 8-round 627s with a standard barrel that were produced.
