Your favorite fast food burger place ??

I always enjoy Red Robin burgers.
Menu | RedRobin.com
and they actually look like the pictures in the menu.

I have seen a couple people mention Red Robin. I have eaten there a few times and I do not consider that place FAST FOOD. It’s a decent sit down place with a bar, tipable wait staff and it sure is not cheap. Never went to a fast food place that walked you to your seat! I never have and never will tip in a real fast food place.

Five Guys the Mickey Dee type places are fast food not Red Robin.

I've found that most people crave what they can't get locally - which is true for me as my favorite fast food burgers are In-N-Out.

For local greasy burgers it would be Dyer's and the 100+ year old grease.

NOT a fast-food joing, per se...but Islands is fantastic. Both burgers, adn seasoned frieds.

Chains (whether you may be familiar with them or not):

Carl's Jr. !
The Habit (encroaching east from Kali)
Culvers

Local:

Lucky Boy's
Lenny's Burger Shop

Since you like chili fries, have you tried The Hat?

Used to live one or two blocks from The Hat in Temple City. Their chili fries are second only to Tommy's. Their pastrami is second to none! Double chili cheese burgers were good but always got the pastrami (no dip, extra mustard and pickles with a few pickled hot peppers!)

White Castle. No contest.
I realize that this is a bit off-topic but if you all can indulge me, let me detail the scenario...

It is presently about 5 degrees below zero with an appropriately silly "wind-chill" factor and I happen across this "Fast-food Burger" thread.
Partly because I didn't get to bed until 4am and had to get up at 9am and was probably still slightly abrogated I figured that it would be a good idea to shoot over to W.C. for a sack of their new "Veggie Sliders". I brought them over to the bar and challenged the assembled "gourmands" to try them.

They did not approve.

Fortunately I had also purchased some Jalapeno Cheese Burgers which proved to be an adequate palate cleanser.

J's Carryout in Emporia, KS. The burger and fries or rings come in a brown paper sack that quickly shows the grease soaking through. No website and seating is limited to about 20 people max, and then only if you're on good terms with the person sitting by you. Voted best of the road by Rand McNally. As far as chains go, Braums, they started here with Braums Dairy and the store was called Peter Pan's when I was a kid.

Well, again it ain't fast food but I have to show-off a burger from a local cafe:

FOUR pounds of hamburger on a custom made bun................

Of course all the rest of the fixings are also oversized..
CHECK OUT THE PICKLE SPEARS.....

Great to order when a guest comes to town!!!:D

SURPRISE.............................:)

Back to the subject: IN-N-OUT are great...but, they aren't in IOWA..............

Pick-quick.com. 2 locations in WA state. My favorite is in the city of Fife and it has been for the last 45 yrs. The best burgers and fries around. The burger's flavor just explodes in your mouth and the fries are slightly browned which brings out the sweetness of the spuds. That sweetness coupled with the acidity of of ketchup keeps you diggin' in the basket for more... Great shakes and a varied menu. You can even get a grilled cheese! Hungry yet? I sure am!
