Ah shucks, roasted peanuts in the shell are always a treat.

One of life's little disappointments.... waking up to find out that all of your favorite nuts aren't really nuts. Not sure I will ever be able to enjoy a roasted or boiled peanut again and I just know I will never be able to look at an almond the same way. I knew I should have stuck to porn this morning! LOL

Are Almonds...all-monds, ah-monds, al-monds, a-monds (short sounding a)?
My father would say they are all-monds when on the tree and a-monds when not, because when they fall and hit the ground it knocks the 'L' out of them.

Yea I know what you mean-some guys just like to hit the home run when laying down the bunt will do.
I like most canned nuts, I like the Blue Diamond Jalapeno Smokehouse almonds. I've never tasted a decent canned pecan. To me, there are pecans, and then there are all of the other nuts. I buy cracked pecans from the orchard, and if I want to roast them, I will, but I like them raw as well. A pee-can is something you find under a trucker's seat, or in a fishing boat.
