Your Last S&W Revolver Acquisition???

Saturday I bought my newest Smith, a blued 27-2. 6", 3Ts, 98%. I went to my lgs Friday after work and the clerk had just finished writing out the consignment price on the tag. I actually handed it back and drove home before coming to my senses and calling the shop and asking them to hold it for me. I won't ever make that mistake again!

S&W 15-4 found and bought in July of this year. Pinned barrel. Factory nickel. Hasn't been fired enough to even leave marks on the ejector rod. Magna grips number to the gun. No rust, etc. Slick nickel. Dirty (good ... made bargaining easier). Pre-timed on all the charge holes. No nicks or dents. Bought a box of Armscor .38 Special 158 gr. FMJ's to go with it. How's $325 OTD sound? Wonderful to my ears.

About two and a half years ago I bought a Model 15-3 and a 14-3 to pick from when building my recreation of a Model 16-3... the 14 worked and the 15 was passed on to a shooting friend. And they all lived happily ever after. ;)

Model 66 snub nose. I replaced the rear sight with a fixed one. It is almost a model 65 3" (2 3/4 "). I really like it. Around the same time I bought a Model 60. Both are stainless steel.

Mine was this pre-war K-22 Outdoorsman. Someone fitted a bit of ivory on the front sight. Sorry pictures didn't have grips on it at the time.

Yesterday.
34-1, 4-inch, round butt about 90% condition.
Good honest "wear" on it, nothing to show it was abused or neglected.

Date to the late 60's so for me a pretty good find.
