Here is one I havent messed with in many years. Its what I belive to be a first or 2nd year contender. It also came with a fancy wood TC presentation case. It came in 45 colt-410. I added a .256 win mag and scope.
Just for fun I am also showing a .50 caliber pin, or teat fire pistol probley made in Belgum or spain in the 1840s or 1850s. A old collector friend duke duvall gave me the gun about 40 years ago. Duke figuered it was a "boarding pistol" for pirates as you can see holes on the side where once was mounted a clip to carry on a sash or belt. I imagine that was pretty bad news back 160 years ago!
In my hands? This one. Fast. Powerful. Accurate. Reliable. Deadly. I was raised shooting the 1911, and this one fits me like an old glove. As always, what's most formidable is what works best for you.
On looks alone? My Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan, 44mag, 2.5 barrel.
My G35 with a 357Sig conversion barrel would have most folks "in the know" take cover pretty quickly
Without a doubt, my 6" 629. As much power as I'll ever need in a handgun, accurate, and shoots like a dream. The only thing in my collection more formidable than this is my 870 Wingmaster home defense gun.
Dave B: I had one of those Browning 25s and all it did was jam. I tried everything and it still jammed at least once every magazine-full. Finally sold it. it's only good point was that it was right on target at 100 yds!!
