I had a little trouble with loading when I first shot her but after about 300 rounds she started to work smooth, she just needed to be broke in and now I have put several thousand rounds thru her without any problems whatsoever.
A very sweet shooting rifle, I would recommend buying one for sure.
I bought mine and put 300 windchester 333 through it. Had one failure to.feed but.it was my fault because it.was the.first mag I.loaded and did not realizethe stager. Its a pricier .22 I got the moe magpull one and really like it alot. Im itching to get out again!
Have had mine a year now. about 8k thru it Blazer, federal, american eagle packs, everything Most of my buddies ask to shoot it as soon as it is out of the case. top 2 is my fav firearms
New Member and have shot about 1k through it. No problems and way cheaper to shoot than my MP-15 and my VEPR. I love shooting this little fella as does my wife.
Sent 575 rds Down range on Sunday... only 1 light Strike (I have a Slide fire Stock so NOT the 15-22's Fault).... Most at FULL mag dumps..... STUPID Fun
Do REALLY Like my M&P 15 Sport.... but I shot 220rds in it as well... that was $77 in rounds... and only $17 for the M&P 15-22
I am a new 15-22 owner as well. I purchased a model 811033 about 6 weeks ago. Since then I have put over 1000 rounds through it with no issues. Negative feedback is the same in every industry...if you have a bad experience you are much more likely to share it. If you have a good experience it meets expectations and, therefore, less likely to be reported on. I say go for it. Even if you have a bad start (which is unlikely) Smith & Wesson has a reputation for great customer service so they will have your back. Buy it...shoot it...post the smile on your face here...;-)
+1 on all of the above positives! Yes, you should buy one and see exactly how much fun everyone else is having. And not only is it a fun shooter, but also great fun adding mods to it.
Just picked mine up earlier this morning and put through 500 rounds of cci ar tactical ammo, and had no FTE or FTF's!! This is a damn good rifle out of the box.
