Ok, I know y'all have seen it before, but I finally got a box for it, and just HAD to show it off! I also got a nice set of target stocks for shooting. Now all I need is the pamphlet that came with it. My S&W family is small compared to a lot I've seen on here, but this K-22 has become my favorite!:D

Misty,

That looks GREAT !

These .22's are really fun to shoot.

I'm still hoping the box will show up for the one I recently got... the former owner said she'll look around for it.

That is one of the nicest boxes I've seen!

Have you been shopping for the blued, knurled screwdriver that came with it?

It's nice to see a package come together, all the bits and accessories not only add to the value, but are fun to collect as well....

GLG your begining to remind me of... ME!

After finding the gun I had to find a box ( close but not exact ) then the Helpful Hints.... now I didn't go the little - let's be correct here - sight adj. tool ( YET ) but even the PAPER is a tough find.

Now get ready to do it all over again!

Very nice!! I missed out on a K-22 by one day, it sold for $390.00. I was very annoyed to say the least.

Cool

It is always great when you can bring a package together.
Congrats Misty

i have 3 of those but none with the box and all the other good
stuff. i guess i'm not looking hard enough.

A nice revolver. Looks like you're well on your way to a full compliment of original accessorys. Easy to fall in love with these easy shooting, economical to shoot guns.

Good for you, Misty.

One of the GREAT revolvers of Smith & Wesson. A classic in every sense and just an outright blast at the range.

That screwdriver is a tough one to find. And when you do, they are pretty expensive. But sooner or later, I'll add one to the box!

Not a 17, but an 18 with the goodies.

On edit, of course it isn't a Model 18, but a K-22 Combat Masterpiece, or per SCSW, a pre-Model 18.

Interestingly, the box (correct number) is a "K-22 Masterpiece" box, but has a glued-on label on one end identifying the gun as a "22 Combat Masterpiece." not a K-22 Combat Masterpiece.

K-22

I can't imagine anyone, even auto fans, who don't love a Smith 22 revolver. They are almost flawless to shoot and extremely accurate. I have my eye on a model 18 in a local pawnshop. If it sits there two more weeks from yesterday, I will bring it home. They just aren't on every corner in my neck of the woods. Your revolver and box are fantastic! jmark1651

Hello Misty
Keep the Faith. If Lee can't help you, They do Pop Up occasionally and sometimes at Places you would not Imagine.;) I was working at my Local Range as a Range safety officer one day, and an Old Black Fella came to shoot his revolvers. I has seen him before and helped him from time to time with his range needs, so we knew each other a little bit. I Like him and he is a retired Machinist from ohio that moved into our area after he retired. I took Notice he was adjusting the sights on his Ruger with an Early Post-War Black oxide Knurled sight adjuster. I approached him and asked where he got the sight adjuster from ? He said his Father had an early Post-War M&P Target that came with it, which he got after he passed away. My Next question was whether or not he still had his late Father's Target M&P ? He said he had sold it years ago, but kept the sight adjuster. When he packed up, and was ready to leave he asked if I would Like to have his Late Father's sight adjuster ? I refused to take it but he insisted I take it as I had helped him a lot in the past and had been nice to him on the range when he asked for help. I just could not take it from him, so I Offered to buy it from him of which he quickly refused, so I dug into my Range bag and Pulled out a newer fluted style factory sight adjuster and asked if he wanted to trade ? He was happy with the trade, and so was I. Here is the Sight adjuster that just showed up one day on my range, and now resides with me...:) Hammerdown

Nice story Hammerdown! Did this happen recently? Just wondering if you still see the old gentleman at the range.
And a big thank you to Lee for his help! ;)

Hello Misty
It was Early Spring of this year, and I do see him on a regular Basis when I work my shift. He has marked down the days I work as he likes the time I take with shooters and the extra help I give. Most of the other Range oficers are well seasoned older guys who are less friendly I Guess from what he has shared with me, sadly, he was not feeling all that welcome on anyone else's watch...:( He is a super nice guy that I have enjoyed the company of..:) I still Thank him for his generous trade to me when I do see him, he likes to hear the praise and said since he is Not a collector of S&W Items, his Late fathers sight adjuster went to the right person..Hammerdown
