Found this little fella on my kitchen floor

A friend of mine saw a snake in her car and then couldn't find it... yep, she sold the car! :)

I've run over a couple snakes with the lawn mower. Always felt bad about it. Then again, they weren't in the house! I'd still rather see that than this.....

Wolf spider? Kinda cute;)

I don't kill spiders unless I recognize a badass kind. I've got a female rose hair thats about 8 years old. Female Tarantulas can live to be 20 yrs old. I know "so what".

Spiders OUTSIDE? Fine. In the house - summary execution.

I try to watch for snakes and frogs when I mow. Both are useful in the yard.

If he can get in so can another like a copperhead.. I'd be finding where he came in and stop that from happening. I saw a rattlesnake crawling across the road the other day. I was going to stop and try to catch him but their was too much traffic. My mom has a big aquarium and I thought of putting one in there since she's not using it. Their was a pawn shop in town that use to keep one and I thought it would be cool to have a rattlesnake. Does anyone have one?

Pretty snake and glad you relocated it.

Years ago, I worked in grocery store and was helping unpack a crate of corn. When we dumped the corn on the table, there were four small corn snakes in it. I grabbed them (easy to do since they had been refrigerated) and relocated them to my house. My mom was not too amused, but they did keep the field mice population under control. Or that might have been the 4 foot king snake that got loose in the laundry room. I did the family's laundry for the next two years after that.

I am over the 100+ count on rattlesnakes on my property. Yesterday had a 12 inch Gopher snake on my porch. This morning I only had 2 Desert Box turtles and a 4 inch tarantula on the morning dog walk. The javelina made a mess of my stock tank last night, must have been a pool party.

This slender little fellow was about as big around as a pencil. My house was built in the late sixties. He could get in with no problem. I have found only one bad snake at my house in my drive. A small copperhead. If I let the harmless snakes be they eat up all the food and the bad ones will stay away. King snakes are boss. They love to eat the bad guys.

if it was found in your kitchen i can probably tell you where he got in look under your sink where drain goes down through floor. not alot of people think there is space there but i bet if you look you will see pleanty. get a can of expand foam and fill that in you will see alot less snakes, mice, even possums. yes i said possums i had one on my kitchen counter the exterminator actually showed me how he got in no problems since
