I sent it off to Smith & Wesson and got it back last week. Here are some before/after pics. Whaddayathink?
The gun itself cost me $475, refinishing was $190 and shipping was $35, for a total of $700. I doubt that I could've gotten one this nice-looking for that much, and now I can shoot it with impunity because it's "ruined" as a collector piece.
