OK, here we go.

This Saturday Night Special was sold to my Dad for $15 around 1956, he thinks. Looks like a cut off Iver Johnson 22.

He gave it to me for some reason. It is too loose to shoot and I will destroy it soon. Maybe I'll use it as a target or someone will offer me big money for those diamond grips :).

I have this same gun in 6" blue, with adjustable sights and square butt. It's actually a decent gun.

Sorry for the crappy pics. My camera is a bit old.

Don't destroy it! Wait until your local Libs decide to put on a gun buy-back, then allow them to do the dirty work. Some recently have been up to $100 on handguns. Besides, the money can be spent on ammo or for a better gun, or just groceries or a nice meal out. Just hold on to it, the time will come for it to be moved along. Nothing better than allowing anti-gun types to pay you.

I had a Semmerling LM4 for a time. Kinda ugly but it brought an amazing amount of money when sold.
Don't have a pic of it anymore.
Got it as a disassembled bunch of parts in a cardboard box. 2 magazines though! Kept one of them 'cause you never know when that mag-less LM4 will come around 4-sale at a bargain price.
Fun gun to shoot,,functioned perfectly,,,but it sure didn't win any beauty prizes.,,,and it needed to loose a bit of weight.

I kind of like it. I'm into guns that other people already cut up and this is very interesting.

Heh, heh, heh! I can beat y'all like a drum on the ugliest gun. Went to a local gun show a while back with a view to purchasing a thousand primers. Came home with this instead for about the same dollars. The thousand primers looks like the better deal.

The Helfricht Model 3 .25 ACP

Manufactured in Germany from about 1920 to 1929.

Anyone here ever seen one before?

This is the ugliest handgun I own. The gun is too reliable to sell, so the buy-backers can keep their money.

Here's what yours used to look like. I shoot it in the basement...

That Helfricht is neat! Never seen one of those before. Lots of odd looking 25's around from that era in Europe. Some with extended barrels to meet gun control regs even then.

Beautienne: Before you pin much hope on those grips, be aware that only an IJ with the bottom of the frame drilled and tapped for that screw will take those grips. They are mostly target models.

OOOO no!!!! Not a ugly CZ-52! I like mine a lot. My fav. pistol. ;)

Shoots fantastic! Refinished mine last weekend with a fresh zinc park job. Still soaking up the oil. :)

You must be kidding? Ugly? The Iver Johnson TP22 is a beautiful pistol and I wish I still had mine. PPK lookalike. Man, I wish I still had that gun. I would knock soda cans off the fence post all day with my TP22. Great little gun. Believe it or not, I traded it and $100 cash for a S&W M639 back in '91 to a guy who wanted "something smaller." I still have the 639, but miss the Iver Johnson, the first gun I ever bought. Think it was $129 in the eighties.
