I've seen a lot of posts pro and con about the JM grips on this forum. Personally, I'm a huge fan. They enable me to get a high hold on the gripframe and just feel great in my hands. Here's my 625JM with JM grips, let's see yours.

My JM grip is in my parts box. In it's place I've mounted the 500 Magnum monogrip. While it may not be as pretty, I really really like this grip.

I love them... I have two N frames with the JM grips: a model 327 M&P R8 and a 327 JM.

These grips are a bit too big for my carry L frame, yet I did go with something similar... hideout grips:

I like my grips smooth and round :)

And this picture is just in here for fun... the R8 dressed up for bullseye.

I don't like them, the grip is too narrow for my tastes and I sold the set that came on my 627 V-comp. I put smooth wood Hogues on all my revolvers, for my money they are the best!

They fit my hand very well...and I have long fingers...

Have one set on a 657 Mountain Gun and had one of the Red/White/Blue sets on a 627 .38 Super....that gun is gone...

How much do used sets sell for... I have been looking for some pretty ones but just have not seen any, new or used, that I like...

I don't have a pic. close at hand, But my 625-6 .45 Colt mtn. gun is wearing JM grips and gets around via a Simply Rugged Sourdough pancake also. They feel great even with stiff loads. JMO though..............

I love em, fits my hand and allows me to adjust the grip easily without bringing the gun completely down from the sight picture.

I like them... I've used them on SB 4" and 6" guns and found them excellent. I agree with stevieboy about the higher grip hold...

They are currently on a 6" Mod. 57 in the picture (sorry...it is the only picture I have of them on a gun and a poor picture at that..) Excellent collection, Steve_NEPhila and a great picture of yours, SuperMan!!:)

I thought they sounded like a good idea and eventually found a set just like SuperMan Bob's picture above. Put them on a 625-2 I have and liked the way they looked. Wanted to like them for shooting but it didn't work out that way. Just can't get comfortable with them. They seem to slender for my big mitts. Maybe I aught to sell them to one of you guys who likes them? (smile)

This is a matter of personal preference. Jerry Miculek does not use them on all his guns, he changes them out and experiments constantly. This is like the seat adjustment on your car. Use what is comfortable for you and don't worry about what others think.

My 625JM wears Pachmayr Decelerator grips. In fact, all my S&W revolvers do.
I like the look of wood, but my guns are shooters rather than lookers and they all shoot better with the Pachmayr grips.

I had to darken up my JM laminate grips a little and the results were very positive. I like them on the N frame and will be trying a set on the L/K in the near future

I don't like the look (esp those red, white & blue ones) or the feel. They sure do work for Jerry, but they'e just not for me. I prefer Ahrends smooth Tacticals..........

If you like the Pachmayr Decelerators you should really give the 500 Magnum monogrip a try. I had the Pachmayrs on my 610 for about a year and they are a nice grip, however I found the composition to be a bit "soft". Great for soaking up recoil, not quite so good for consistent recoil management. The 500 Magnum grip features a bit firmer rubber and it has the old Coke Bottle shape. Took about 1/2 inch off my groups from a rest with the 610 and a full inch shooting offhand at 15 yards at a 6/10th split time. If Hogue ever does this grip for a square butt grip frame I'll put one on every revolver I own, right now all of my round butt grip frames wear this grip.

Here's a pic of mine. They're a bit colorful. I'm still trying to get used to them, but they're not too bad with a .45 ACP. I don't think I could tolerate them on a .41 or .44, but a .38 or .45 is ok with them.

N frame?

Any one have a set for an N frame they could let me try or want to trade for some cash or black talons in .40?

Hate them, heres my 625JM with S&W Combat's
