I like the show for some reason, mostly because the other stuff on TV with the exception of The Walking Dead, Hell on Wheels, Blue Bloods and Doctor Who in my opinion is about as entertaining as watching someone sleep. I picked up on a couple of the remarks about guns, but I can tell you I have had to straighten out a couple of cops (not CO's but deputies) on firearms and the laws. I talked to one recently, a veteran deputy of 20 years plus who made the comment a month or so back that "civilians don't need AK-47's" I told her I owned one, and that it was before I worked in law enforcement, she kind of got really quiet and just said "oh" I think kind of realizing that not everyone who owned one is going to go scooters and get on the roof of a building or storm a mall. I kind of like the small town cop premise. My father was one and I recall sitting on the passenger seat of the Dodge Diplomat he used to drive, I still recall going to a couple of brush fires with him, I was no older than 6 or 7 at the time. I also remember going with him to get that Diplomat and watching him put the decal on in our driveway for the doors (nothing more than a large version of his badge). The town only had three cars, a white diplomat, a white St. Regis and a blue diplomat that belonged to the chief, who was the only full time cop. Not a bad gig for a town that had only one or two places to eat, one big store, and one gas station.
As far as Grashorn's, I have had a few of his grips and a set on my 27-2 right now. Pat is a first class guy to deal with and the grips fit perfectly, both the gun and my hand.
