M&P 15-22 Picture Thread

Nothing special here, PC version, Leapers Accushot 3-12x44 compact on Burris PEPR, AFG2. Just need a sling and bipod and eventually some paint.

Well, I got bored again. I found some Rit Dye and colored my mag followers black. I've been reading too much Recoil magazine.

Just posted this in a separate thread, but it probably belongs here...post paint job and minor remodeling pics.
Parts:
Magpul CTR stock, Gen2 MBUS sights, XT rail panels, AFG foregrip, Moe+ grip, and MS3 sling
Midwest Industries rear sling adapter
Gear Sector rail mounted sling adapter and stubby grip
Primary Arms micro dot on an American Defense mount
Spike's fake can
Surefire rail covers (black)
All lower parts replaced with DPMS equivalents. Trigger is stock with JP yellow springs, and all other pieces are original.

Installed a Troy sling mount tonight. I had to do some minor fitting, but it's rock solid.

I got the new STR today. This is my favorite stock yet, and I've tried a few.

The cheek weld is 100% better on the STR in my opinion.

I still like the CTR, but the STR is perfection. I like the fact that it's a little longer too. I adjusted the stock to 4 instead of 5. It looks better there.

Quick pic I took after cleaning today. I only shot 200 rounds thru it at an indoor range and I'm liking it so far.

Afg2 and aimpoint borrowed from its big brother until it comes back from lwrc. I'll probably end up getting the same parts for this rifle as well. Also need to get some rail panels and a sling
