This type of scenario is happening all too often. Colorado, Wisconsin, Oregon...etc. This seems to be the new wave of what to do. Prayers and thoughts to those families involved.

I know this was a school, but carry at the mall, church, restaurants, public parks, barber shop, car wash, super market, movies and car.
Watch for the "NO GUNS ALLOWED" signs, so you, the "law abiding citizen" don't get into trouble with the law.

Teaching moral relevancy and doing away with any real morals and accountability in this country are the issue. After all, it's all about ME right? Did I mention ME? What about ME? Let's talk about ME........

We have not begun to see the price we'll pay for turning from God and absolute morals.

You want to see the end result of moral relativism, take a look at Stalin and Hitler.

I will pray for this Country and the people affected by this tragedy as well.

This is what happens when a Country like our turns it's face from God. Our society is circling the drain folks. My prayers go to all that are affected by this horrible incident. But honestly I only see more of this for our future until we repent as a whole in this Country. Just take a look at all the other great societies throughout history. When they turned away from their moral compass they all fell. We are on that road. Our only chance is to turn back to God.

Shooters MOTHER was one of the victims, she taught there, also the Principle/Psychologist.

A Glock, Sig, and a Bushmaster .223 were recovered.

In 1764 4 Indians walked into a school killed the schoolmaster and 9 children. What is now Greencastle Pa.

1927 Bath Mich. 45 killed 38 were school children when a disgruntled employee set of home made bombs.

Its not about liberals or conservatives or video gamers or the era. There have been evil people throughout history and will continue.

I do implore everyone here that carries to carry something bigger than your j-frames (preferably with a lot more rounds) this time of year. Senseless acts of violent are becoming more and more commonplace...and during the holidays many people become very despondent. I am at my little girl's school quite often and if we had an active shooter, I'd hate to be caught with my DS or 442. I'm gonna start wearing my 14 shot P2000 with an extra mag on my ankle. I know even that is no match for someone or someones with an assault rifle, but where children are involved, I am going to engage even if it's almost certain suicide.

His mother was a kindergarten teaher at this school .
Two classroms seemed to be involved.

Her body was found at the (her) nearby residence.

Guns were in her name.

Video games and drugs!
Long ago, there were professionals watching sadly, as the video game industry began making big money selling games where the player is shooting other humans. Games aimed at children. They warned that monsters would be raised by them.

Long ago now putting a rating system and age limit on Hollywood movies was considered prudent. All that happened was it encouraged kids to watch that movie. Sometimes more than average monsters were raised.

Now more and bigger monsters are being raised by violent video games as doctors experiment with the right drugs for children. Sure they have various hyperactivity disorders. They are forced to sit most of the day. Schools are built with higher windows so they will not look out.

We have societies for protection of animals. Lets start a society for protection of children's minds.

I know what I think! But will keep my mouth shut for some time, let the facts come out, etc.

How I feel is simular too 9/11. Sick! Mad! Greaving for all that lost someone today.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families, this is a vicious horrific crime, what can cause a young man to do such a thing.
How can a mind go so wrong. I wish there were answers to these questions that would help to prevent this type of thing from happening.
More gun laws are not going to prevent this, taking guns away from law abiding citizens is not going to stop this. It is going to make it worse if anything. If there had been one or two armed teachers in that school this might have been stopped sooner and lives saved. No disrespect intended but the police cannot protect us, in most cases they get there in time to make out a report after the damage has been done. Its not their fault, there just isn't enough law enforcement officers on duty at all times. You have to be able to protect yourself and your family.
Lord take these little children into heaven and help the surviving little children to get through this horrific time in their young lives.
God Bless all the children and their families.

Report is that the Ct shooter was autistic, somewheres on the Asberger spectrum.

Loughner, who shot Congresswoman Giffords and others, the Colorado theater shooter, and now Ct. All diagnosed with mental illness or disabilities, but allowed to walk among us.

The President took no questions about assault weapons and legislation. He spoke as a father, and forced back tears as he spoke. That Fox would report otherwise is truly sickening. They are the ones who couldn't wait for the end of the day before spinning up their agenda.

More sickening is CNN interviewing the kids on the incident.
I'll take spin over sick reporters.
