They had 98 when I got there (I didn't order), then reloaded and they were at 28, then reloaded again and they were out. I hope some folks on this thread got some.

I heard the beeb on gunbot and was able to get 2 boxes from sgammo.

first success all week.

For the people asking about the orders from Ready Reserve (ammo in a can). I ordered 10 cans on February 9th; it shipped on the 17th and I received on the 22nd if I remember correctly.

Also got two cans from sgammo a few minutes ago...barely.

Was just going to bed and checked gunbot one last time. Picked up 2 from SGA. Only success I have had all week. Sad I'm exited about $.08 a round but sick of stalking Walmart. Thanks to whoever at SGA set a two brick limit or don't think I would have had a shot.

I'm hoping to find a brick or two soon... I'll have to keep my eye on this forum for a few days! I don't think .22 ammo will be returning to "normal prices" anytime soon!

Ammo made by ATK- Federal & CCI- seems to be hitting the pipeline. Now, if people would just QUIT BUYING the overpriced ammo being hawked by speculators on Gun Broker and other net venues, we might see some supply stabilization at semi-reasonable prices!

Two LGS in my area received limited shipments of CCI Blazer .22 LR. The distributors raised the cost of the ammo by about $8 per brick over Dec ember 2012 prices. Both stores are selling the ammo for $3.50 per 50 round box with a four box per person maximum. Both have received offers of over $50 a brick to buy all the ammo. Thankfully the store owners want to serve their customers rather than feed the net supply. Another large gun store without such a conscience ( in Butler PA) is limiting in-store customers to 100 rounds at $10 and telling them if they want more ammo they have to bid on it during the store's Gun Broker auctions! This low-life store does the same with magazines.

FYI - MidwayUSA must have received a shipment. I got confirmation they are processing a back order for Winchester M-22 ammo. Hope it means they will have some regular stock left over for those who can't find any. Might want to subscribe to their "notify me". Sometimes it is faster than gunbot

Just walked into walmart early 5:30 am. The lady in sports was stocking and I noticed a case of 10 boxes of Remington 22lr Golden hollow points at 9.99 a box of 225. She said she did not have the register open and to take what I wanted and pay up front. So I took the case. 10 boxes 2250 rounds for 100 bucks. 4.4 cents a round, and not the lead, but washed hollow points. Also scored three boxes of Wolf 7.62x39 for 5 bucks a box. All in all it was a good day.

did the RR cans have mini mags, after all?

[i think feedback on ammo and vendors fits within the purview of the thread]

I've been singing the praises of the .22 long rifle website. I scored a few times from it before the items showed up on gunbot. And once gunbot never showed the item as being in stock (historically) when lucky gunner had 10 cases of blazer ammo that I got in on. They sold out in literally seconds according to the comments that can be read here: Cheap 22 LR Ammo For Sale - 40 gr LRN - CCI Blazer Ammunition In Stock - 5000 Rounds.

It wont work in anything but a revolver. Not for rifles or semi-auto.

From the webpage ---

WARNING: These rounds are powered by the rimfire primer only. They must only be fired in handguns. If fired in rifles, the bullet may remain lodged in the barrel.
Will not cycle the slide of semi-automatic handguns
Aguila packages these as Long Rifle ammunition, but they are in fact slightly shorter than a 22 Long cartridge
