Nashville/bowling green walmarts and bass pro shops: The walmart in springfield, TN started showing 2 brands of ammo "in stock" on their web site at 12:01 a.m. Knowing they can't sell until 7 am, I went there at 6:45 a.m. There were 17 people already in line! They finally wheeled the ammo out around 7:30. The had 12 boxes (not cases, BOXES) of 555 and 12 boxes of 333. Thats it for the whole store! Obviously everyone bought the limit of 3, so 8 people got some and the rest of us-NOT! I then rushed to Franklin, KY which also had started showing "in stock" last night. After the 45 minute drive the guy says not only did he not have any, but that they didn't have any all morning. Using what you guys have told me, I begged him to go look and explained that the inventory on-line showed "in stock" and so on. I was polite but insistent to the point he got mad. I'm very much suspicious that he is holding back and later on selling to a local gun shop because they mysteriously keep comming up with the same brand/box sizes when this happens-only they sell them for about $90 per brick (yes, really). As for Bass Pro shops, the one in Nashville was completely out at 10:15 today. Not sure what, if anything, they had at opening but by 10 15 it was all gone. So the lady quoted above who said bass pro nashvile was stock was wrong! good luck guys

This is my first post too. Just joined to say thanks for this thread, and in particular, this link. I just got a confirmation call from Cabela's. 4 of the 6 boxes I ordered will ship. The other 2 were deleted due to stock limitations. Hopefully others were able to score a few boxes too.

The walmart app scores again. I'm done shopping for 22 ammo now. If you don't have the WalMart app on your phone your missing out. If it shows in stock at night, it's there. It might not be on the shelf until the next morning, but as far as I can tell, that app is very close to "real time" stock availability. Thank you again to the original poster, about this app!

Although it is way more accurate than the web site, usually if it says "Limited Stock" they don't have it. It also lets you check the price which the website doesn't do.

That’s strange, I just called because I got the voice message last night (I did get the backorder email after my order yesterday) and they said they lowered my order to 10 and should ship today or tomorrow. She said they had received a shipment.

I just got a confirmation email that my order has shipped.... I only ordered 4 boxes (rifle is brand new and I'm still trying to figure out what it likes). I placed my order yesterday morning about 7:45 Eastern.

Update for those who ordered the CCI Blazer from Bass Pro yesterday. I got in on that pretty early and thought I was good to go because I didn't get a dreaded back order email... I was wrong.

I chatted with an agent today to get an update and she told me the order was "in process", but my order qty of 40 had been reduced to 10. She stated that the order maximum was 10 and all orders in excess of that were being adjusted down to 10 automatically. I then asked what the ship date would be and she said projected ship date is end of March because they basically oversold their inventory... So I guess I have an "in process backorder" as far as I can see it.

What a bunch of ****. Anybody else got any info about their order? I didn't cancel mine yet as I wanted to see what others were seeing, because even at only 10 boxes the price per round would be around 5 cents which is pretty good.

Same with me, I had 2 orders of 20 and now I only have 1 of 10. She told me it was 10 per customer in which I replied, um you should probably state that on the site or limit it to be only able to order 10!!!!!!!! She wasnt amused.

I just called Bass Pros after reading this and my order of 40 boxes was reduced to 10, but it didn't get cancelled.

Just called Basspro and they are filling my 10 box order now! They kicked it down from 11 to 10.

Yea using app but on an iPhone and when I click on it it just said the same thing as website price varies by store.
