+1. Factory sight. No elevation adjustment.
If you do decide to replace the rear sight be advised that there are two plungers under that rear sight.
So if these are factory does anyone know what load & distance these were factory fired at.
I consistently shoot 4-5" low at 20 yds with 115gr fmj ammo. Trying to figure out where to hold these sights.
Was this the factory original 3913 sight from S&W. If so am I correct that the allen screw is for elevation adjustment
Thanks.
More info on the Plungers please. Thanks
Sorry DH2683. I didn't check back in soon enough, but I see that E4Dan has it covered. This explains the plungers and everything else on a 3rd Gen slide:

Try either 124 and/or 147gr. bullets and see if it still hits low.
Also get another to shoot it and see if it continues to shoot low. It might be your grip or a flinch. Dale
I have the 3913 also with the same problem I started using 115 gr and then went to the 124 and 147 gr bullets and it still shoots low and to the left.
My Shorty 45 shoots great and I have to problem with my small Rohabrough R-9.
I guess that I need to change out the front sight also.![]()
