SD Triggers and Mag Extensions Coming Soon From Apex

The mags we've tested worked as is with the plus 3 extensions. The higher cap bases (6+ rounds) will most likely require a different spring, which we're working on now.

I wasn't sure because i never had one of my SD mags apart. After i asked, i pulled one apart abductions saw just how long they are.

So if I am reading this right both the 9 and the .40 will be +3 extensions. Will the +6 extensions be the same way? 21 rounds of 40 sounds awesome. If so you can put me on the waiting list for 2 when they are released.

I've only done prelim testing on the +6 for the 9mm. I still have to play with length and final dimensions for the 40 mags. I'm not certain if I can get +6 into them or not without having them longer than the Gauge.

I'm offering to send out a fre freebies for people to test out...All I need you to provide is your own ammo.

I am in!! I spoke to you today about my SD trigger that was quirky. Yes, I had to look this up since you told me about it! Would surely LOVE to test out a trigger and mag extendo if the offer still stands! I have plenty of ammo to use ;) I thought the only trigger for the SD was the Polymer SD Action Enhancement Trigger (which I purchased)??

I really need to stop being stingy with my $ and get that darn Armorers block for the SD!! I guess supporting 5 kids, wife, and keeping a running farm, it is kind of hard to splurge.. :(

I am interested in testing for y'all, I have an SD40 that I've done up a lil bit, custom stipple job, TruGlo TFO sights, SS guide rod, Apex spring kit. I am a firearms instructor with DHS and I get plenty of rounds to plink around with;) ALSO, if y'all ever make a RAM kit for the SD, I'm all over it!!!

i think his tester list was filled, those
who asked weeks ago were selected and have already been sent thier products...unfotunatley WE are not the testers we would love to be

I don't know about the other selected testers but i didn't get mine yet. I believe Scott is waiting until the magazine extensions are finished to send em out. Im pretty sure all the guys who posted about having them were people who actually paid for them. I emailed Scott last week but haven't gotten a reply yet. Id imagine they are pretty busy so ill just continue to patiently wait.

This is true the testers have not been sent the products for testing yet. I am also patiently waiting for the Extensions to test.

My trigger finger is itching to get started on my 2000 round test.

I don't have 2000 round :( but I'm still (somewhat) patiently waiting for the magazine extensions (and other goodies :D) to test.

BTW thank you Scott and Apex for the opportunity to test your products.

Sorry for the delays in replying guys, I've been slammed with the design and prototyping of the Shield triggers.

I heard back from our anodizing shop that the base pads are on the way back now and should arrive on Thursday. Unfortunately there will not be enough time for me to get the testers in the mail before the end of the week. I'm heading to Sacramento to shoot the IDPA State match and will be leaving on Thursday. When I get back in town on Monday I'll send out all the bases, triggers and spring kits.
