I don't think there's anything wrong with it. I mean people put Apple computer stickers on their cars, stickers of who they voted for, and stickers showing how many kids and pets they have (those stick figure stickers) which in my opinion give other drivers way TOO much info about you. A sticker displaying Glock, S&W, or even the Ruger hawk emblem is hardly recognized by anyone except those who know about guns. Most progressives and liberals couldn't tell you what they mean. They have no idea. They think the letter "L" is a gun for crying out loud.
The type of car you drive will make you more of a target than the sticker you put on your car. Drive something fancy with a nice car emblem plastered on the front and you have to invest good money in a security system as well as always keep an eye on your vehicle wherever you decide to park.

PS: I have no gun stickers on any of my vehicles...even NRA stickers.

There is not a bumper sticker in existance that dosn't rub someone the wrong way,too many idiots on the road with too much road rage to put my family in jeopardy over a stupid sticker.

I have an NRA Instructor and Range Officer sticker on my back window. They have gotten me out of tickets (twice) and have been conversation-starters with people in parking lots. I have also gotten two (2) free guns because of those conversations in parking lots, and have been privy to a lot of information from people who "want to get rid of all the extra ammunition and reloading supplies" they have. Never once, has my car been broken into. Just lucky, I guess.

More police officers would rather shake your hand then hassle you for a NRA sticker in NJ. Afterall they don't like going through hoops to get a Pistol Purchase Permit either.

I have NRA stickers on three cars and a motorcycle, as a matter of fact most police and correction officers I know have the same NRA stickers. Some sport Glock, S&W, SIG, and H&K stickers.

I guy I knew in college had one that read "YOUR NAME HERE". I suppose there was SOMEone, somewhere who was rubbed the wrong way. But I laughed every time I saw it.

Which is great if you're a LEO of any stripe but as is too often the case in our fine state,if you're not a LEO,friend and family of a LEO,politically connected or a celebrity, calling attention to oneself and a fondness for firearms is just asking for a stop for perhaps an "illegal lane change" or "non functioning tail light" and "would you mind me taking a look in your trunk"?
So considering we have grown men going to jail for possession of air rifles,stray HP rounds,one "evil " feature on a perfectly legal gun or perhaps violating a "reasonable deviation" from a route between home and range I, as most do, limit any possible exposure to our fine men in law enforcement.
