It's really great to have friends at the local pawn shop. Buddy called me and said he had a 15-3 that just came available. Meh no biggie, I already have one. He sent me a few pics and after close inspection I decided we could add one more to the fold. Not very often you come across a almost flawless Model 15 with a USERDA PANTEX stamp :D

does it glow in the dark?

Now if you need to use the "nuclear option" you are good to go! Those dang M-15s are addictive.

Nice catch!! I have one from them too. Is yours in the matte finish?

I've put the correct stocks on since this pic was taken:

Looks like it's a heavy barrel too. Nice score!

I have a postwar K22, K152821 shipped September 1952 with the same marking. Reportedly used to control burrowing animals on the property. Facility is just east of Amarillo.

"heavy barrel"? I thought model 15s only had one type of barrel.

The 2" model 15 always had its own heavy barrel profile,

Model 15's up to the 15-4 have the tapered barrel profile , the Model 15-5 has the Model 14 wide rib non tapered barrel in different lengths .

Model 14's have the wide rib profile until the 14-5 series when they switched to a full underlug barrel in differerent lengths.

Would have been alot easier if the 15 got the full underlug barrel and the 14 line was left alone .

Thanks for posting. I'd love to see pictures of this one too.

Sorry for the delay on the pics. I had to put the gun on layaway. USPSA has been quite expensive since I moved to Open class and this has drained my gun fund account. I picked the revolver up day. Here are a few pics. For those interested the serial number is 8K45xxx
