Anyone have a Bond Arms derringer?

Have one too just a novelty. Well made for sure. It is a little heavy to throw in your pocket but like I said just a novelty there are a lot better carry guns out there as we all know

I carry my Bond .45LC when I am just running around town. Fits easily in my pocket and can be out and fired extremely fast. But it is only intended to be parking lot protection (as their ads imply). Nor can you spend a day at the range with it cuz it hurts after several rounds. I can hit paper plates with both barrels at 15 yards, with careful sighting, but the gun is meant to deter an attack or stop one by one or two guys who follow you to your car.

I have been wanting to indulge in a Bond derringer for quite a while now, on and off the fence about cost vs. practicality. You learned gentlemen convinced me ... and saved me ~$450 as well. Thank you for being the voices of reason.

Thanks for backing up my previous post above on working within the gun's limitations. In it's designed role, as you so well state, it has no equal. No .45 other than a derringer can fit in your pocket.

Had a small one in 32 ACP, not a Bond. Worked just fine as a BUG.

There is a technique you can use to improve accuracy. Grasp the pistol in your weak hand. Use your strong hand to grasp your weak hand as a grip. Work the trigger and hammer with your strong hand.
