Great little carry gun as others have said. Not a range gun, but there are light loads available for your wife to use while getting comfortable with the gun. Good price. I'd buy it if I were in a similar situation.
Thanks guys, think we will look for something a little heavier. I want her to shoot it a lot until it becomes second nature if she is carrying it in her purse.
I ordered a Lee mold that will cast 105 grain SWC bullets and will load up a bunch for her to practice with. I am betting the recoil will be very light.
First range session went pretty well. First two cylinders were nothing worth talking about but then put my concentration hat on and managed to keep the remaining 40 shots in a 5 inch bullseye at 12 yards shooting offhand.
More than adequate seeing if we ever need it for self defense the distance will be much closer. Used Unique for powder but it is to slow as lots of unburned granules. Think I will try some VV310 or Bullseye for the next trip.
I am guessing recoil will be stiff with +P loads.
