The handguard looks great on the new one, is it polymer? Also my wife is intrigued by the lifesaver gummies, she wants to know if they are minty or fruity. lol

It is indeed a magpul polymer mlok handguard it feels great. Almost a shame that I'm going to use it for bench shooting. I'll start a thread later with more pictures etc since not many have seen it..the trigger is a bit different as well. And they are fruity.

Fruity....she smiled. We don't get lifesavers here in the UK, but she remembers them from home.
Intrigued about the different trigger, indeed start that thread.

Looks nice. How do you like that scope?
You shouldn't bridge the gap between the upper and the hand guard with the scope mount.

That scope performed well for what it was, Just a cheap internet($45) scope. I have since changed to a 4x20 carry handle mount scope to replicate my Colt AR with a 4x20 Colt scope I 'll try to get pics of both posted later this week .

To be nit picky, they are not weapons until they are used as one.
They are simply firearms, rifles, Etc.

They are hydro-dipped. There are kits you can buy to do almost any pattern imaginable.
