Evening drifters. I enjoyed the race today, it seems that everybody wanted to be in front and were willing to fight for it. I think the announcer said that 33 of the 40+ cars had been involved in some sort of contact and when they showed close ups of the cars running you could see tape and wrecked metal on just about all of them.
It's 74 degrees in the desert this evening and has been a pleasant day all day long. I love this time of year.

I was watching the country music award thing on TV, if you can call it country music anymore, and all of a sudden the news comes on and just shuts off the award show. It was almost over anyway I think but you would think they would allow a show to finish.

I read somewhere that the team she races with will be going to Ford cars next year. May not make a difference but then we will have to wait and see I guess.

What a weekend !!
The wife and I had our two grandsons this weekend, picked em'
up Thursday afternoon actually. Took them back to their Mom and
Dads Sunday afternoon. I am physically and mentally beat.
The oldest is 10 and the youngest 6.
Love to see them and spend time with them but three days is
really pushing it for me and grandmaw.
I need a vacation.

And the night shift drifts on into the night ever watching for the possibility of attacking hordes. It's quiet in the desert tonight haven't even heard the coyotes or the owls tonight. Hmmm.....maybe it is too quiet, maybe the aliens have abducted all the owls and coyotes and maybe I have been up too long and need some sleep.

Not a fan of restrictor plate racing. If I had my way no tracks would be more than a mile.

Good morning all. I noticed last night that the Like button on my Tapatalk app has been replaced with a Love button. Don't anybody get the wrong idea now. Today is my day for jury service. The weather is less than ideal, but the buses are running so hopefully I can make it to the Jury Assembly Area without getting wet. Each of you have a great day!

Good Monday morning! Hope everyone had a good night. Good news from the weather girl this morning,once we get through today there is little chance of rain for the rest of the week! Maybe things will dry out enough that the smell of all the waterlogged stuff will start going away! Drift on.
