Consarnit dagnabit, I had something to say then I clicked on Trololo and now that's echoing in that hollow space between my ears.

I always felt the same way about Jimmy Page while
listening to his work.
Are there any new young guys pickin' these days that
can carry the torch Rusty ???

Chuck

Most boomers think that only players from their day are worth cranking the old Victrola up for.

Thankfully that is not the case. There are hundreds of young virtuosos in every whistle stop in the nation. They cut their musical teeth on the greats before them who raise the bar each time.

With each crop of players, the expectations placed on them by their peers is higher. Much like computer skills, my grandkids are far more adept with a touchscreen than their parents are.

So, they are out there. We just have to listen for them and not dismiss them for their youth, dress or deportment. (Like a lot of my dad's generation did to us)

It's true what they say: "listen with your heart not your head".

Hoping this little guy will become a member of the family Friday. His owner, a very elderly man, is no longer able to care for him.

So far we've had some great weather but some severe storms have hit to the north of us in Kentucky, don't think we should be affected.
Have a great night everyone.........

Just got home from a presentation put on by Texas Law Shield attorneys at the Redneck Country Club here in Houston. Pretty good insurance,if you are involved in any criminal or civil law problems gun related they handle it,only costs 10.95 a month. Local hot rod shop who uses the same parts salesman that I do had a lot of good things to say about them when he was involved in a shooting. About half or more of the cars that come into my shop I see a gun in the car/truck without even looking hard, hope I would never need shooting insurance but you never know now days

Chuck just snagged a Colt. Congratulations. I have my eye on the Blackhawk.

Aren't you glad that I'm all up in your business?

Just pretend this is hwitty.

Go for it Paul. I looked real hard at that one as well.
Blackhawks are cool.
I have been on a roll here lately. My bank account has
seen better days. But what the hey, you only live once !!
