I would move heaven and earth for my Grandchildren.
I understand about you also wanting to keep things civil
if possible and to not bad talk the mother in front of the boy.
He would probably resent you if you took to bad talking
her around him regardless of what a ******* she is.
Any chance she does drugs around the boy?
Could you get permanent custody?
That's what would be most scary to me. If she's hanging
around with others and doing them i doubt she has any
qualms about getting loaded around the child.

Not as a savory dish, I make it for desert, the way my grandma did. With sliced bananas and confectioners sugar.
