Good morning everyone! Hey it's Friday! Hope everyone's of the the start of a great holiday weekend!:D Things are looking pretty good here, don't think any rain is on the horizon but we do need it! The grass cutter was here yesterday but there is no grass to cut?
The granddaughter and company, (my daughter and SIL) should be headed this way sometime today!
The pool has been readied for the new swimming star! :D She took another 2nd place in her swim competition again,,,,5 years old and she's on her local swim team! :D This is a kid that at one time wouldn't get near the pool! :D
The deck project is moving along very nicely, the contractor was here again last night until 10pm. We got a $900 upgrade on our railing since the supplier made a mistake in ordering and does not want to pay a restocking fee, sooo we get it at half the cost! That works for me! ;) This stuff is custom ordered to fit so nobody else can use unless they want to do a lot of cutting!

SW,,,sorry to hear about your grandson!, but it seems that you and your Mrs. are the best thing that happened for him! I'm sure in the end he's going to turn out to be a fine young man and one you know you'll be proud of! My hats off to you sir! ;)

No hordes were sighted here but yesterday I had a mother duck and her young quackery waddle through the front yard? Really a strange sight for this neighborhood but it was funny to see!

Well the coffee break is over,,,,back to work! :( Oh no did I say that ugly word? On a Friday none the less! :D

Stay safe and drift on!

The Marlin is $530.00. I am also considering a Smith 940 revolver in 9mm. Or a Ruger Redhawk .44 mag. Man...I'm all over the place. I didn't even mention the CZ75BD 9mm.

Certainly can't fault the thought process which generates that list.
Benchmarks for their type, standouts, one and all. I'm sure the enablers in the Drift could help make the case for getting them all. :D

After getting a Rossi 92 in .357, it hard to argue against a pistol caliber long gun for fun plinking with a touch more drama than .22LR.
Giving a type CZ-75B a try might be fun. We enjoyed the full sized 75B so much, that hubby and I got compact versions for carry.

panda hoards

Sipping my coffee and the restaurant owner told me a bizarre tail. He said that a panda walked into his restaurant last night, sits down and ordered a sandwich. He ate the sandwich, pulled out a gun and shoots the waiter dead. As the panda stands up to go, the manager shouts, "Hey! Where are you going? You just shot my waiter and you didn't pay for your sandwich!"

The panda then yelled back at the manager, "Hey man, I'm a PANDA! Look it up!"

The manager opened his dictionary and sees the following definition for panda: "A tree dwelling marsupial of Asian origin, characterized by distinct black and white coloring. Eats shoots and leaves."

Happy Friday, Drifters! I got on the scale today to see that I've lost 20 pounds put on during the winter since I went into "summer mode" on June 11. A FitBit, 10 miles of walking daily and at least a 1,000 calorie deficit over intake made it easy. I find that with a good mix of high protein, low fat meat like venison, steamed crisp vegetables, fruits and water, I'm feeling great at 1,300 calories daily.

In less than 5 minutes. All the Mommies can celebrate a new Tennessee Law. They can now buy wine in grocery stores across Tennessee, as of today at 8:00 am! That goes in affect starting today!

That means all mommies can get their wine while grocery shopping and not have to drag their kids to the liquor store, any more! And gives teenagers something new to shop lift! Whoopie!

Good ole Tennessee! Only about 20 years behind the times!

You did it again! I'm still waiting for my son's Shih Tzu to come out of the guest room for this mornings Rhea patrol, and your already wearing me out. Notice of a hike out to the Paw Paw, and I'm finished. ;)

Heard on the news.

That Refrigerator Perry is living in his car. Stays at a assisted living home. He lost a foot, a few years ago and stays drunk? Has lost all his millions. They said at one time he had a ton of money making endorsements and made a ton of money on them, besides making millions from the NFL.

It's a shame!
He also has Guillain-barre syndrome.
I know from personal experience that with a peripheral motor nerve condition, you can either do everything you can to retain mobility and independence or a person can just give up.
