Pistachios. Having to open the shells slows me down so I can savor each nut. I used to like the red ones; got the dye all over my fingers. Cheetos play that role for me today.

I'm an equal opportunity nut eater and will eat most any type.
I prefer lightly salted cashews. My African Gray, Kozmos and Black-Capped Ciaque, Marley love when I soak them in some cranberry or orange juice for a few seconds.
Trader Joe's has dark chocolate covered almonds with coconut. They are totally addicting.

Pecans, most definitely. I have a nice smokehouse about an hour south of us where I get local pecans and heaven on earth, dark chocolate covered pecans. I usually eat a couple of those a day.

Wife buys these large jars of unsalted mixed nuts from Sam's. They have pecans, almonds, cashews, pistachios and Brazil nuts. I don't care for the almonds, so I'll dump out a pile of nuts and put all the almonds back in the jar; my wife likes them, and I eat the rest. A good IPA goes well with them.

I wish I could still eat nuts, but my diverticulosis precludes that.

Like Hair Trigger, I get the big cans of mixed nuts at Sam's, except salted. Sometimes I'll eat some with a V8 for a little snack. Mostly I put a handful in a baggie, add some salt, and take with me golfing. Great on-course snack! And cheap.

Raw almonds, or English walnuts. But I've never turned down a cashew or macadamia nut.

I like pistachios (lightly salted) the best, so does my green cheeked conure. I have to give him some first to distract him so I can have some too.
I am a nut slut. Mixed nuts, peanuts, almonds, pecans, macadamia, brazil, filberts. ...if I missed any I offer my apologies to the nut world.

I have to bring my cholesterol down and I hear that almonds can help. So I've been eating Blue Diamond flavored almonds. I've tried the sriracha and habanero and was under whelmed. They ate not spicy at all. My favorite are the salt and vinegar. They have some pop.

I like almost all nuts (except boiled peanuts), but cashews are my favorite.
If you like pecans, you'll love the variety available from Young Plantations -Welcome. Several times a year I have them ship an assortment to my friends and relatives.
