Yesterday it was so cold out that I took a man into my home out of the kindness of my heart. I felt so sorry for him...poor thing was standing stiff and frozen out in the cold. This morning when I got up, he had just vanished. Not a word...not even a goodbye or a thank you for sheltering him! The last straw?!?! When I realized he had peed all over the living room floor!!! That's the thank you I get for being good to people?!?!?!

Now I'm going to warn my friends to watch out for this man! He is heavy set, wearing nothing but a scarf, he has a nose that looks like a carrot, two black eyes, and his arms are so skinny they look like sticks!!! Don't bring him into your house!! What a huge mess he made on the floor. ⛄

The problem with doing this good deed is that you have absolutely NO idea of pre-existing medical and or psychiatric issues. This individual my have dementia, bi polar, dissociative disorder which can;

There are three types of dissociative disorders:

Dissociative identity disorder.
Dissociative amnesia.
Depersonalization/derealization disorder.

This could have ended far worse, the house could have been set on fire, your untimely demise in an act of violence.

You dodged a bullet @GKC. I've seen what this scoundrel can do. He could have coerced you (and you don't want to know how) into his gang and led you rampaging all over town.

Unfortunately you were not thinking you were feeling, but in today's environment you have to think more and feel less about your fellow human........you did what you thought was best carpets or floors can be cleaned and sanitzied......glad you are safe.

Learned my lesson

Years ago had a guy that was always walking my road on my mountain. Felt sorry for him one winter and gave him a ride, seemed like a nice guy but smelled really bad.
Two weeks later he beat an old man to death with a hammer .
Three miles from me.

fortunately I have only seen this type of character when it snows, it seems to bring them out all over the neighborhood...thanks for the heads up so I won't make the same mistake...:-)

I know who you're talking about. When I was a kid, he was a TV personality. The years must have been tough on him. His appearances were always very seasonal at best, and more recently seem to have tapered off to next to nothing.
