What is/are those from South Africa? You don't by chance have a Z-88 copy of the Beretta M-92F? A rifle from Musgrave?

At present, my guns are all US-made, save for a No. 4 MK II Enfield .303. But the Beretta M-92FS 9mm is Italian-designed.

In the past, I've owned guns from a number of nations. I still would, but in retirement, I'm on a tight fixed income and have
little opportunity to add guns.

The last foreign one I had was a CZ-75B 9 mm, now with my son.
I loved it but he needed an affordable pistol after leaving the Army and I sold him my CZ at a family price. Thankfully, he has since added some good guns. Some were handed down in his wife's family. Without asking him, I won't list any, but they are nice.

Off the top of my head, I've owned guns from:

Germany

Austria (Mannlicher-Schoenauer carbine, NOT a Glock!)

Sweden

Argentina (Sistema Colt .45 auto, Army-marked, and a Browning FM 9 mm)

Finland

France

UK

Czech Republic

Italy (Berettas, inc. a 20 ga. shotgun)

Spain

Belgium

Belgium/Portugal (Browning 9 mm MK III made in Belgium; assembled in Portugal)

Maybe others

Those comm. Canadian Winchesters were Winchester-made. Some Winchester lever guns have been made by Miroku in Japan, but the comm. are all US-made, I think, and are of lower quality, post-1964 M-94's.

That one ain't mine. If I'd bought it new I woulda got the set triggers, but found it in a pawn shop in the late 70s.

Hmmm, let's see:
  • USA
  • Spain
  • Yugoslavia
  • Chechoslovakia
  • Hungary
  • China
  • Croatia
  • Turkey
  • West Germany
  • East Germany
  • Germany
  • Poland
  • USSR
  • Russia
  • Italy
Those are what and when, so some are not in existence as they were when the gun was made. Looking at South Korea, maybe others.

Added: South Korea now on the way

Looks like me and scoobysnacker are the only ones with a gun from Croatia. Mine's a Springfield XD 45 compact. I thought XD's would be more popular?

The crazy thing is, mine is a PHP MV9, not an XD :)

Who'da thunk that would be a 50/50 split?

I get the feeling the XD guys either aren't listing, or aren't looking at their guns very closely.

I'd like to add France to the mix, with the right model.

A few;

USA
Italy
Spain
Germany (prewar)
West Germany
East Germany
Brazil
Great Britain
Canada
Romania
Czech Republic
Croatia
Japan
China

Maybe one or two more but this is all that I can think of right now without digging through the safes.

China, India,Finland actually 2, England 3, Persia, Czeckovslakia, Switzerland 2. Argentina, and possibly others I cannot recall at this time. Frank
