When I came across this article I thought that pretty well sums up what's happening and what will happen with all the gun control blabber after the Florida school shooting in Parkland, FL.
The Florida School Shooting- PROMISE & Aftermath – Georgia News Daily
There's also a report floating around that the shooter in Florida only had 10-round magazines and did not use high capacity magazines like a lot of gun grabbers have said.

It depends upon what your criteria for "success" are.

If you're hoping to:
  • enable oppression
  • enable genocide
  • prevent designated victim groups from defending themselves

then gun control has been a wild success.

I think it would be interesting to have a poll on what single element everyone (libs included) felt was most significant in the shooting

If you can only vote once and for 1 item items like:

- NRA
- AR15
- high capacity magazines
- mental health of the shooter
- law enforcement
- DJT
- state laws
- school location
- immigration
- taxes
- etc...

Gun control even failed in Tombstone Arizona in 1881. Good article on ammoland.com. I subscribed to it a few years ago. All aspects of shooting sports and self defense daily. Pretty good reading.

MENTAL HEALTH of the SHOOTER. From all I have read about the shooting and the boy who did it, the shooting was all but advertised to everyone. I think every agency, LE and Medical should be held responsible for it. I can't believe no one even tried to take any action beforehand. It cost the lives of 17 young people who could have grown up to be good citizens. A lot of potential was wasted that day. That is what breaks my heart, and I used to consider myself hardcased.
